OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe in breeding to produce companions of optimal health, superb temperament, and gorgeous appearance. Not a single one of these traits should be overlooked or undervalued.
We follow the guidelines of Goldendoodle Association of North America to thoroughly health test our breeding dogs prior to their first breeding.
We follow these guidelines while breeding Goldendoodles, Bernedoodles, Sheepadoodles and Golden Retrievers. I am one of an elite group of members who have proven to follow their guidelines to produce optimal Goldendoodles. When purchasing a Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle, Sheepadoodle, or Golden Retriever, you want to be assured that you are receiving a companion of optimal health, personality, and stature. We breed specifically for these factors. We also perform DNA testing or provide AKC lineage to prove that you are indeed receiving a legitimate Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle, Sheepadoodle, or Golden Retriever... not a mix thereof. Other breeders have been known to mix other breeds into their Goldendoodles and not disclose this to their buyers. You can be assured you will receive a genuine Goldendoodle, Bernedoodle, Sheepadoodle, or Golden Retriever from my program. Please visit goldendoodlesassociation.com to understand more about the breed standard, expectations, and breeders guidelines for Goldendoodles.
We operate with guardian homes and our dogs are never kenneled outside. We follow current veterinary recommendations. We start breeding our girls during their second or third heat. Based on national veterinary advisement, we breed back to back heats and retire them young. We have been informed that this helps to avoid health issues in females such as pyometra(uterine infection) and pseudopregnancy(hormone surges that can cause physical, emotional, and mental issues). Of course, all of this occurs based on the needs of each individual female as is the number of litters they produce. We refuse to stretch our girls thin and push their limits. They're our babies :)
