Hello! I'm glad you're here!
​I'm Christin, the proud owner and operator of Dogwood Doodlebugs, LLC. I was born and raised in Western North Carolina. I was lucky to live the farm life in our small town. My parents supported and encouraged all of my animal shenanigans. I did everything from showing rabbits as a rabbit breeder to barrel racing! Being around animals has always been my favorite place to be.
I have experienced litters of puppies from a very young age. It all started with a litter of bird dogs(dad was a Grouse hunter).
All of that brought me to where I am today. 
Prior to becoming a fulltime dog breeder, I was a sonographer.  I had a wonderful career of 16 years at Haywood Regional Medical Center. I left my position as lead sonographer in June 2020 to dedicate my work focus to my dog breeding program that had grown into a fulltime job in itself. This was a wonderful move for my family. As a single mother of three, God truly blessed me with this opportunity.
I'm blessed to have 3 AMAZING children(and their good friends you'll see in our group pic). Dogwood Doodlebugs is a household effort and passion. They are grateful for the life we live that's full of furbabies! 

And, then along came Perry...
My children and I lived alone for 12 years. To say I had a full plate of responsibility is an understatement.
In 2024, I met Perry. Not only is he amazing as a partner, but he has an immense love for animals of all kinds. His heart is BIG for our dogs. He eagerly jumped right in to share my Dogwood responsibilities. I AM BLESSED!

Our family looks forward to sharing the experience of a lifetime with our puppy families. It's our passion to make lives brighter, four paws at a time!
