Health testing is a crucial part of responsible breeding. We send DNA from our dogs into genetic labs that test for multiple (over 150) genetic disorders. We also test for certain coat traits. Not all Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic and non-shedding. These tests have the ability to tell us if a dog carries a shedding gene. We avoid breeding dogs that will produce high shed puppies. We do this to ensure we produce optimal puppies for our doodle families. Our breeding stock is minimal to non-shedding.

We also obtain OFA certifications for hips, elbows, patellas, and cardiac. We want to ensure that our breeding stock is healthy and capable of producing healthy puppies that should live a long, happy life.

Our breeding dogs go through the process of completing appropriate orthopedic exams.

We test the breed percentages of our dogs. We do this to ensure you are receiving exactly what you are told. We are aware that other breeders may incorporate other breeds into their lines to produce a specific look. We will not do this as it can alter the temperament and health of a dog. We chose to raise Goldendoodles , Bernedoodles, and Sheepadoodles because we admire the temperament and other qualities of their ancestor breeds and wish to provide families with a dog of this nature. We will achieve a desired color/look by carefully selecting the proper breeding stock, not by misleading our buyers by incorporating other breeds.
